What does your school receive, and what must you do by December?

Watch Laura Earnshaw, myHappymind CEO, explain how the Inclusive Mainstream Fund works and how Belong helps your school meet the statutory deadline.

What is the Inclusive Mainstream Fund?

From June 2026, every mainstream primary school in England receives new ring-fenced government funding specifically for inclusion, averaging £14,000 per year for three years. It cannot be absorbed into the general budget. It has to be spent on inclusion.

And by 31 December 2026, every school must publish a statutory inclusion strategy covering the seven themes the DfE has set out. This is a legal requirement, not a recommendation.

How myHappymind Belong supports inclusion
